Free Medical Camp
Fully realizing on the unavoidable necessity of the medically deprived poor people living in very remote places of the rural areas, Our Organization was organized and practically implemented a comprehensive “Free Medical HealthvCheckup Camp “with our “Mobile medical Unit “at Putaljar from 23th to 24nd Nov./2021 with tremendous programmes covering nearly 2 villages, namely Chapar and Rowmari and 200 no’s of poor and landless patients unable to approach to the Doctors even for preliminary treatment were properly checked-up with a free distribution of medicines to the needy patients. The doctors and nurses of C.H.C.Juria was fully participated and medically assisted to the poor patients in the camp.
Ujjawala Home
The Organization is running a Ujjawala Home for Women & Children for the victims of trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation under the scheme of Ujjawala (a Comprehensive Scheme for Prevention of Trafficking and Rescue, Rehabilitation and Re-Integration of victims of Trafficking for Commercial Sexual Exploitation) at Dhubri and Kokrajhar district since inception covering 50 number of victims from organization own souces.
Swadhar Greh
The Organization is running a Swadhar Greh for women in difficult circumstances at Dhubri and Kokrajhar district, Assam from the organization's own sources. The organization is successfully running the home with 30 inmates and children, widow, trafficked women & girls, homeless, divorced, release from prison, victims of sexual crimes, victims of terrorism, extremist violence, women in moral danger etc. are the category of beneficiaries of this programme. Shelter, Vocational Training, Non-Formal Education, Counseling & guidance etc. are provided to the inmates of the Swadhar Greh for women.
Self-Help Group
Based on the concept of unity & strength our organization came forward to promote the formation of Self-Help Groups in Rowmari and its surrounding villages. We organized public meetings at various places to train people about cash book operation, opening of bank accounts etc. and provided counseling & guidance for SHG formation. During the year 2021-22, we are able to form another 40 nos. of SHGs in addition to the 20 nos. SHGs formed during the last year and we are in a process of forming more and more such SHGs in the coming days and the organization mobilized the community for the formation of SHG Cluster at Dhubri District. At the same time the organization also provided training on micro finance to the SHGs which included group management, bookkeeping, accounts etc. The organization also opens a savings bank account for each SHG to deposit their savings safely.
Terracotta Training
The organization has established a terra cotta training-cum –production centre at Rowmari, Dhubri from its own sources covering 100 nos. beneficiaries. Terra Cotta is solid items & very demanded in the market. So, we want to train each unemployed person in our district and help him/her to get employed to himself/herself with sustainable income generating activities.
Computer Training
With a view to train up educated poor unemployed youths and help them to get employment in different sectors, the organization has been conducting another job oriented vocational training in computer application at Rowmari, Dhubri since its inception. Every year, we are providing training of computer education to 100 numbers of youths.
Free Coaching
Our Organization was arrange a one month Free Coaching Programme for our students in Summer Vacation in the month of July/2021. And in this Free Coaching Programme was arranged in Chapar High School where near about 100 students of ST, SC, OBC AND GENERAL CAST were joined and benefited. And the organization has provided free coaching computer training and scholarship programme. The organization has given preference to those who are belonging to BPL class.
Garment Making
The organization is running a Vocational Training cum Production Centre for Readymade Garments Making at Rowmari, Dhubri, 100 Nos. of beneficiaries received the training from this centre and out of them 20 numbers of beneficiaries got employment in different shop and few of them established their own enterprise.
Hand Weaving Training
The organization has established a handloom weaving training-cum- production centre at Rowmari, Dhubri from its own sources covering 100 beneficiaries. The centre is successfully running this programme with growing request from the women weavers and the organization has proposed to extend its services for covering more weavers.
